While repair materials
have evolved to include polymer-modified repair mortars, the method
of application is sometimes best performed the same way it was done
years ago. Equipment has improved and is now capable of mixing multiple
batches, pumping more material, metering water, and introducing admixtures.
The Truesdell Corporation has invested in the state-of-the-art shotcrete,
concrete pumping and grouting equipment. The machine-applied mortars
are usually more cost effective and less time consuming than other
repair options. These repair mortars are commonly used to increase
cover on rebar, repair damaged concrete members, or rehabilitate and/or
strengthen old or eroded concrete structures. |
