Whether in fabric form or pultruded carbon fiber reinforced (CFRP) laminate (as shown in the photo), this system is effective in addressing strengthening, flexural, shear and confinement issues on beams, walls, columns, pipes, tunnels, silos, tanks, chimneys and slabs. The project displayed involved the change in use of an old warehouse to a new microbrewery. Additional strengthening was required for the upper level to carry the added load of large vats. |
