Hydro Demolition

As an efficient and effective means of concrete surface preparation, hydrodemolition has no competition. On this project, over 300 columns received a 3/8 inch profile (CSP 5) prior to application of shotcrete materials. Hydrodemolition can be performed by hand wand as shown with pressures up to 40,000 psi. Tractor mounted units allow for larger areas to be prepared up to 8 inches deep in a single pass with no detrimental effect to the steel reinforcing bars.
