Manhole Repairs

Rehabilitation and coating of deteriorated manholes involves the proper preparation of deteriorated concrete (or brick), structural patching of damaged areas and lining with approved polymer or resin based coating systems. The primary concern is the intrusion of methane gases into the concrete which can corrode the concrete and weaken the structure. This photo shows a project requiring the use of chemical foam as waterproofing to prevent groundwater from entering and chemicals from leaking out of the pit.
