| Sealers To prevent the dusting of concrete surfaces, sealers are often applied to finished concrete slabs. Often mistaken for sealers, curing compounds are also spray or roller applied to concrete surfaces. Most common purposes for either of these low viscosity materials applied to the surface of concrete include dust-proofing, hardening, curing, densifying, water-resistance or to improve the over-all wear ability. The photo above demonstrates the ability of specialty sealers to prevent the leaching of lime from the precast panels on to windows and etching the glass.
