Secondary Containment
Whether a large tank or a slab on grade, primary and secondary containment have become major concerns as fines and remedies continue to escalate due to environmental issues. Soil pollution is not an option. Containing these harsh chemicals is not always easy as concrete is rapidly deteriorated by acids and other chemicals. The Truesdell Corporation has used proven products and methods, including epoxy novalac technology, new technology like polyurea and fiberglass reinforced vinyl ester systems as shown in the photo of this containment tank at a large copper mine.
