| Inadequate design, insufficient reinforcement and change in use are some of the causes for needing additional strengthening. Truesdell Corporation is versed in a variety of external reinforcement methods including the addition of steel members to concrete columns and beams. Whether bonded steel plates or anchored "I" beams as in this photo, Truesdell Corporation has the experience and ability to properly perform any retrofit project. Engineering News Record reported that this building would be demolished. To extend the life of the building, Truesdell Corporation, among other repairs, installed steel "I" beams to each of the internal concrete columns. |
